About this Recording
An excerpt from a 1959 broadcast of the Louisiana Hayride featuring Country and Rockabilly singer Johnny Horton. Unlike the majority of the Hayride's shows, which were broadcasted from the Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium from 1948 to 1960, this particular show originated from the Youth Building at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds.
